Green Tour
On arrival to the airport in Cappadocia, you will be greeted by our team who will drive you to Cappadocia to join the tour bus.
Today you will visit the famous underground cities of Cappadocia and surrounding valleys.
Group sizes in our day tours of Cappadocia tours is 4-16 people maximum. The vehicles we use for our daily Cappadocia tours are also comfortable and airconditioned for a smooth ride. Lunch is included on the tour, you will be taken to a great local restaurant to taste traditional turkish cuisines in Cappadocia.
The Cappadocia Underground cities tour covers Derinkuyu underground city, Belisirma village, Selime Monastery, Uchisar Pigeon Valley and Goreme Panorama.
The tour takes around 8 hours. In some parts you may need to walk into beatifull valleys of Cappadocia, we reccommend you bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a hat if possible. The day tour of Cappadocia ends around at 18:00, after which the group is taken back to the hotel. Overnight stay at a cave hotel.
Red Tour
Daily Cappadocia Cave Churches and Valleys tour programme: Our team will pick you up from your hotel around at 09:40 for the Red Tour of Cappadocia. During the day tour to South Cappadocia you will visit Goreme Open Air Museum, cave churhces of Cappadocia, Uchisar Castle,Pasabagi Fairy Chimneys and Devrent Valley. The day tour of south Cappadocia takes around 8 hours. In some parts you may need to walk into beatifull valleys of Cappadocia, we reccommend you bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a hat if possible. After the tour our Cappadocia Local Tours team will take you to airport for your flight.End of 123trip services.
Day 1: Departure
We will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel, W e will pick you up for red tour from hotel around at 09:30 – 09:45. We go directly Uchisar Castle and you can watch a breathtaking Cappadocia view. This fantastic rock formation is highest place of Cappadocia to watch Cappadocia as panoramic. After that we go to Goreme Open Air Museum which entered the Unesco World Heritage List in 1985. You can see rock churches, carved chapels built by early christians, an orthodox monastery sheltered to the escape from Roman attacks. You can see very well preserved frescoes on the walls of churches and chapels. This frescoes are paintings have came by resist corrosive effects of time. The frescoes are from 5th. century. And lunch time. You have a chance to taste Turkish delicious in a local restaurant. After lunch we forward to Avanos. Avanos was center of terracota arts in B.C. 2000 Hittite times. You will have a chance on here to watch and see traditional pottery demonstration art. The clay used in pottery demonstration gets from passing heart of town Kizilirmak which second longest river of Turkey known as Hallys in antique times. Our next stop is Pasabagi (Monks) Valley. Pasabagi is best place to see three-hatted fairy chimneys.Also you can understand the formation of Cappadocia from up to down. After Pasabagi we forward to the Devrent (Imagine) Valley. You can have a fun time imagining the visual rock formations that are different from the present rock formations that will fascinate your dreams. Our last stop will be Love Valley. You will see a another unique rock formation in Cappadocia on here. After Love Valley our lovely tour finishes and we take you back to your hotel or wherever you want.
Overnight in Mevlana Cave Hotel or Smilar
We will pick you up from your hotel with our guide, bus and driver at 09:30 – 10:00. We go directly Goreme Panoramic View Point. You can watch nicely Goreme view and almost all of Cappadocia and take excellent photos. Also your guide explain important informations about Cappadocia. You will have free time to take photos and explore the area yourself. Our second stop will be Derinkuyu Underground City which biggest, largest and deepest underground city of Cappadocia. Derinkuyu Underground City has 8 level at the under of ground. You will see different sections on each level (kitchen, sitting room, restroom, tombs, stable, missionary school etc.)… Your guide explain informations about levels and formations. After underground city, we forward to Ihlara Valley. Here is biggest and deepest canyon of Cappadocia. We visit Agacalti Church after walk approximately 300-400 m. You can see a church which keep the history very well. Than starts a walking nearby the Melendiz River through to the Belisırma Village placed in hearth of Ihlara Valley about 3 km. You will spend enjoyable times in natural life of valley while walking . After 1.30 hour walking we will arrive Belisırma Village. You will have a nicely lunch near the Melendiz River. After lunch we drive to Selime Monastery. Here is also known as a cathedral and oldest cathedral of Cappadocia. You will see kitchen, missionary school, church, small churches while visiting here. But it is a little difficult to see frecoes. Somebodies say a few chapters of Starwars movie taken from here or desired take here. There is an excellent landscape on roof. Almost one hour later we will arrive Uchisar, Pigeon Valley. You can see unique panoramic view of Pigeon Valley, take photos, see hundreds of pigeon houses, feed the pigeons. Our last stop will be Onyx Workshop. Giving informations about valuable and half-valuable stones from the Cappadocia region on here. After Onyx Workshop our lovely tour finishes and we take you back to your hotel for airport transfer
